People do work on other projects during the down time. It's actually very healthy to get away and do something different for a while. The Stones haven't lasted this long by being a full-time band.

That vegan diet is taking its toll LQ.
It would look ridiculous no matter how his presence is justified.
I think it should be better that Jagger would show up alone. He is the hero of this project, the leader of the band, an ex-film actor, a film producer (Jagged Films), etc. so it would be quite natural place for him to be.
But if - I have said this earlier - all the Stones would show up that would make the impression that The Rolling Stones is nothing but a group of caricatures showing in film premiers and other circus events just in order to "show up" for the sake of itself. They already promoted with their presence (too) many SHINE A LIGHT showings - which was the last time they were seen together in public - and this new "film" is nothing but just another document of them to be relaesed in TV and on DVD. It doesn't beg at all of them to be there. C'mon - some sense of relativity!

It would not be surprising if Mick Jagger would attend the festival alone, this is not against Ronnie Wood, but why should he promote Exile?
