Im sure a few will remember his instrumental Lord of The Rings LP from the early 1970s. Atmospheric Hammond organ psych in an Ummagumma-era Pink Floyd vein. Jimi Hendrix was a big fan and jammed with the 60's organ/drums duo "Hansson and Karlsson" when he was touring Sweden- he also covered Bo's composition "Tax Free". RIP Bo. Maybe some Swedish members can post details as most of the press coverage is in Swedish.

Sadly, I've found nothing in swedish media that say what the cause of his death was. But I know that he has had issues with his health for a couple of years.

Man, Bo Hansson was one of my two biggest heroes, a sort of musical father figure and I'm so sad that he has passed. I had hoped to see him live and try to share a few words with him...but...well I'm a bit empty.

Rest in peace Bosse. You left us to early!
