The ballads are better than the rockers these days - in fact, they have been probably since the mid-80s.
um....I'd have to say I prefer rockers

Rockers. I still believe that the Stones is a rock and roll band.I could do without the slow songs (when they play live) although Mick and Keith wrote some great ballads. I love the Rolling Stones because they rock, that when they are at their best.

Ballads are fine, but rockers are great.
The Stones use a mixture of different styles, but listen to the first 3 seconds of a song and you know exactly: It's a Stones song. That's unique. They square the circle.

not a ballad not a rocker but somewhere inbetweeveen, like:

some uptempo blues etc
that combines the best of both..

Usually, it's the midtempo stuff that I prefer. The rockers are 2nd and the slow "ballerds" are 3rd.
