Just got the news on some terrible storms in Europe,Portugal,Spain,France, Germany and is expected to wreak more havoc northwards. My concerns go to all IORRonians and others. Swaystones, if you have power for your PC to read this, I worry for you. Hope you can let us know you are OK. Condolences from Australia for those that have perished.

I am doing well but unfortunately there are almost 50 people who died ,some of them were sleeping when the "big wave " came and they were drowned.
There are still 60 houses that are completely under the water,and the rescues will find only dead persons inside.

Here in my hometown we had winds off 110 kms/h on Saturday night and it has reached 160 on the Atlantic coast .

Of course there is nothing to compare to the huge disasters that arrived recently in other countries but people here were really scared .
