Question about a 1975 Stones tee-shirt .
Posted by: SwayStones ()
Date: January 14, 2010 12:28

I've always liked this photo -is there any pic from Mick that I actually dislike ?

The tee-shirt looks nice too , do you know when and where Mick wore it and if it's still available ?
Thanks .
Sway .

Great pic. Never saw it before. I think it's the first time I see Mick Jagger wearing a Mick Jagger Tee.

Thanks for posting and sorry being not able to give you any further information about the photo.

Sway,I´ve got the german issue of this book.On page 245 ("Sept.3rd" ) is a more or less
well known pic of Mick half sitting-half kneeing on a stage wearing a bright pullover.
Under this pullover you can clearly see the top of the shirt he´s wearing on the
pic you posted.
The text says, shot was taken at rehearsals for the MSG shows ( June 22-27,if I´m not wrong).

Googled for the pic but couldn´t find it,but I´m sure I´ve seen it posted here on IORR...anyway,this pic isn´t credited but as getty images is involved in this book
they may have the rights.......

Hope you got this book and it helps a bit...

Hey sway,
in response to your question if Mick's tee shirt is still available, I'm pretty sure this is a "home made" teeshirt and not a tee shirt that was mass produced in any way.
In the old days we used to make "home made" tee shirts all the time. in high school we had all sorts of band shirts . . .

Oh he's so vain! Only Mick would get away with wearing a T-shirt with...his own fizzer on it.
