Nearly pulled the pin and bought the Led Zeppelin Japanese SHM mini-LP boxset, but thought I'd just ask the board if anyone has it and what their thoughts are about the audio quality?

I think it is beautiful. A geeks idea of a good time. SOnically, I really can't hear much more than was on the last re-mastering, other than the Jap's seem to get a warmer sound. A bit more like analogue. The packaging is beautiful! Full mini replicas down to the smallest details. Very much like the Mono Beatles box set, even the inner sleeve for In Through the Out Door is the water color paint dots! I would say if you have the cash and were planning on it anyways, don't turn back. GO FOR IT!
