Come on----which stones gig you will never forget!????

If you went to a Stones concert and didn't like it, there something wrong with you. And if you didn't...you shouldn't be there in the first place.

the first one (nose-bleed at kingdome in '81) and the last one in oakland were forgettable...the other 31 were somewhere between moderately enjoyable and outstandlingly fantastic....

Yes, i heard about it, but it wasn't because the Stones played bad but because the accoustic of the Arena is bad. If i'm not mistaken every time they play the Arena they have this problem.

I have at least liked every single one since '75 with the exception of the very last one I saw: Seattle 2006. Best one: Roseland Ballroom 2002.

Frankfurt 2007 was really bad, it cannot be described more positive, and it was bad on any level, not only on a Stones level.

I saw them 22 times and never disliked a minute, even though some concerts weren'that good (Frankfurt '07).

I'll never forget any of these concerts but oustanding ones were my first (Frankfurt 1990), Prague 1995, Leipzig 1995 and Berlin 2006.

Both Frankfurt 2007 and Amsterdam 2003 were aweful for sound, Frankfurt being the worst. However, I still enjoyed both of them. Remember me Fred Hardin? I'm the American you met at Amsterdam. Hopefully we'll meet again at a gig, even if the sound is bad, ha-ha.

I am not sure it's a matter of how the show sounded like .For instance , I am not sure the Stones' concerts I intended in 1976 and 1982 sounded that good,but they are my fave.
2007 had may be a better sound but I was really sad to find out that Keith hardly could play .



I am a Frenchie ,as Mick affectionately called them in the Old Grey Whistle Test in 1977 .

2005 Toronto
2006 Vancouver

Favourite show was '05 in Toronto...best opening act, BECK in Toronto '05. Best Duet on Shine a Light with Bonnie Raitt (vancouver '06 I believe).

Never disliked an RS show.

Most boring show I've ever seen, ZZ Top in 1983, and Dire Straits in 1986 or 87.

Favourite non-RS shows, BB King in 1985, REM @ UBC Gymnasium in 1986, U2 in 1987, Radiohead in small club, opening for Foo Fighters (1995?), Tom Jones in Vegas 1996(?).

I'm sure I've missed some good things...
