Cool Alternate Version of Slipping Away

Found this on Youtube. Never heard it before. I prefer this to the album version. It has a more funky sound and feel to it and the vocals are more soulful. Also, seems like the outro is longer which I think is the best part of the song. I also like the piano playing, its subtle and adds charm to the song. Keno's lists Matt Cliffoord on piano for this track.

Yes, that is a very nice, soulful rendition. Perhaps Keith felt the backup vocals were a little overpowering – hence the remake.

I think he Just means the Version that ended Up on SW. Its a bit more polished shounding than this.

I love Keith's vocal in this version. Thanks for posting. Does it sound older than SW? Is it possible this was recorded in earlier sessions? Anyone know?
