Please don't flog me if someone has posted this idea before.
The original Exile line-up of Jagger/Richards/Watts/Taylor/Wyman is still alive and kicking (more ore less). So is Bobby Keys, Dr. John and the other background vocalists. OK, something would have to be done about keyboards, as Chuck is just not the right guy for the feel of this record. Billy and Stu are no longer with us.
The boys have not done anything musically adventurous for a very long time. It would be great if they did a series of shows in an appropriately cool venue and play Exile from start to finish, with the arrangements as intact as possible. If I got to experience this it would make up for all the mediocre stadium war horse shows I have sat through (and paid for). OK, let Ronnie play too. Steel on Torn & Frayed, and 3rd guitar on the other stuff.
