Just got done watching a really good documentary on composer/lyricist Johnny Mercer on the Turner Classic Movies channel.

Produced by Clint Eastwood, it's a very interesting look at an incredibly prolific artist who wrote or co-wrote an amazing number of classic songs.

Features performances by Louis Armstrong, Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Ella Fitzgerald, Nat King Cole, and even Bono.

Also a great view of the pre-rock music world. I recommend it.
