This is a fantastic 2 DVD set from 2 ZZ eras. ZZ from 1980, they used to be a very enegetic act.

Disc 2 is a montage of performances from 2007 and 2008 mixed with behind the scenes footage.

I was already familiar with the 1980 video it's the widley circulated Rockpalast show.

However, I did not have great expectations for the 2007-08 portion due to the very sterile "Live from Texas" DVD that came out last year.

My verdict: Buy this. This makes up for "Live from Texas". Disc 2 is just amazing and the always exciting european audiences makes ZZ play even better.

I know what you mean, its their 1980 Rockpalast show. I've seen it and was blown away at how young and energetic they were, especially Billy Gibbons. He does not stay still for very long, he's all over that stage, and his playing is amazing to watch. It's a great show.

Yeah, that Rockpalast show is great(had it for a couple yrs) but nothing in my book comes close to the FANDANGO tour from the mid 70s. Wish there had been a complete filmed concert of that!

Funny thing is that I never listen to ZZ-TOP can't even recall a song of them.
