Here is an interesting recent inverview with Ray Davies, that doesn't seem to bode well for their reunion:

Hmmm that's too bad. Though I did notice Dave Davies has a show booked in NYC in February which should be pretty cool.

I don't take Ray's comments as a negative regarding a Kinks reunion at all. A Kinks tour would be something to get excited about. I believe it will happen in the next 2 years if Dave is feeling good about his playing ability following the stroke. His upcoming gigs will say a lot.

Oh it isn't Ray! it is definitely Dave. There have been several recent interviews with Dave making very strong remarks about Ray...."he never visited me in the hospital when I had my stroke!"
"I don't want to be in a studio with my brother making music..."

etc...

Well, until then I guess I'll just have to settle for Ray Davies Choral concert (3rd row)!

I loved the Kinks. I have seen Ray solo a few times and while good...he is better with Dave. It just sounds like that will never happen again. But I will cherish the memories I have of some great live performances.

he's working with avory; nice things to say about dave. dave is recovering tremendously from stroke!! i see this as positive kinda...they are Kinks after all. never hear about pete quaife tho...and that is a key element.
