did the Stones ever played at the Royal Albert Hall?

hi all!
a question also about the "Got live if you want it" album
wikipedia says: The performances captured for Got Live If You Want It reportedly occurred on 1 and 7 October 1966, in Newcastle upon Tyne and Bristol while on their last UK tour for three years, despite the album's assertion that the recording hailed from the Royal Albert Hall

but, excluding the got live if you want it, did the stones ever played at the royal albert hall? if yes, when?

thanks
Jacopo

September 15, 1963:
The Rolling Stones perform at a prestigious concert called The Great Pop Prom at the Royal Albert Hall in London. It is the first joint performance with the Beatles, who close the show.

The gig was filmed by Peter Whitehead without sound on 23/9/66 as mentioned in the post above.I seem to remember he used the same footage slowed down in a promo for Lady Jane

They were banned from RAH after the 66 show.

Why were they banned?

I've seen a bunch of shows at the RAH.

I think it would be a terrific venue for the Stones.

I just figured the small capacity of the RAH was the biggest reason they don't play there.

Was it called the "Great Pop Prom" on September 15th, 1963 ?

I am a Frenchie ,as Mick affectionately called them in the Old Grey Whistle Test in 1977 .

Was at the same show/tour/1966 in the Glasgow Odeon and still have ticket , programme & Colour Photo Brochure. Amazing gig Mick sitting on stage floor singing Going Home and Brian Jones on dulcimar playing Lady Jane ! I was at the first performance at 1830 hrs (14 years old ) warm up courtesy of Yardbirds ( Beck & Page ) and Ike & Tina Turner. Glory Days !

AMAZING stonesrule. WOW! What memories you must have. How was the sound with the screaming? The energy must have been incredible.

And the Stones with The Beatles there! WHEW WHAT A SHOW THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN! Imagine backstage for that one???? The stories!

Yes, those were the true glory days. I was young, innocent and ten minutes into the show it was a lightbulb moment. This is IMPORTANT!!! This was my first "rock concert." My memories are still vivid.

Hickory Wind, glad you saw them in Glasgow. Must have been an amazing crowd.

Yardbirds and Ike and Tina...I could hardly believe my luck. The audience at Royal Albert Hall went completely WILD! I'd never imagined anything like it. This was a young crowd, probably few had seen the Stones before except in photos in the music weeklies. Even though I later came to know too much about Brian, that night he seemed incandescent, switching from guitar to...dulcimer! I'd only read about dulcimers in books about days gone buy.

Keith came in at just the right moments in those days. Yes, CindyC, he was a definite cutie pie. Mick clearly was one of a kind...a great artiste. Charlie was perfection and Bill for me will always be the engine of the Stones. A GREAT bass player.

One could tell the Stones were thrilled with the audience reaction. Surely ranks as one of their alltime favorite gigs.
