Oh let me think about this for a second...The Rolling Stones!

Probably the most favorite in our country is Gloria Stefanan.

Scotland: Well they might not be considered the best or most famous but I'd plump for 'The Sensational Alex Harvey Band'.

Could legitimately go for AC/DC of course.

For Stones content it's gotta be Stu!

I live in the States, so can I narrow this down to my local area?

I nominate Skipstone!

I decided to narrow it down to Elvis and Bob Dylan, and since Dylan was born on the great Lakes, I decided thats closer to me than Tupelo. (Im in Chicago) Elvis was a genius of a performer, but Dylan is a genius of a mad genius.

Edith, couldnt ya perhaps limit yerself to the state?

Me, I choose John Holm (not the porn actor) as artist;
The Soundtrack Of Our Lives as band.

Holm, kinda Gram-ish type singer/songwriter.. Lived in California for many years,
did some time, very shy, bad advisors music- and procutionswise he have had..

Another day I might have picked PO Åström, late artist, another open-nerve-singer

The same could be said for Neil Young. Nowadays he's only a local when he wants people to go to the Bridge School concerts. Can't remember the last time he did a regular gig in the bay area.

"It's just some friends of mine and they're busting down the door"

In my opinion, one of the best rock songs that's come out of Sweden, music- and lyric-wise.

Baboon: didn't know you were from that town. Were you banned from the Åhlens cafeteria?
