Don't know if that's been posted before but anyway here it is.

To sum it up: "I want money, that's what I want".

To me he's just a wasted, bitter old man who made the biggest mistake in his life when he left and now regrets that he did. In the end it was nobody's fault but his.

we'll never know... however I'm 100% sure the article is shit - they put a lot of effort to make him look ugly and poor and all.

I'm not complaining as he does.

Only loosers put the blame for their fate on other people.

Of course you're not complaining...you've nothing to complain about!

But then again, you haven't made a vital contribution to some of the greatest rock music that's ever been written and then been ripped off.

...think about that next time you listen to Sticky Fingers.

I don't know how trustful this interview is though the Mail is trustworthy all in all. I don't know the real inside story but I feel really sad about what he did after leaving The Stones. But as the others reckoned easily, he pushed This Band at an upper level. He never replaced Brian nor did Wood replace him. But without him there would have been no Sticky, and no Exile. A master musician full of grace and a source of inspiration.

It isn't. The story has already been dismissed as fabricated, as it was based on a few off the record quotes from a conversation Taylor had with this reporter in 1997.

And the Mail has a lousy track record in fabricating innocuous conversations into a sensationalist story where there was no reason to do so.

Did you really just claim the Daily Mail is trustworthy... or was that an optical illusion. Things get crazier every day here, it seems.

Which is just as well since you're not really in a position to comment on it.

Plus I think you'll discover that you don't want to mess around with Owls any longer - when darkness sets in they have the advantage of Night Vision...

The original story has legs:

Maybe Gibson is churning the notoriety waters to develop interest in a Mick Taylor Signature guitar...
