If his hair is real, it's the best hair I've ever seen on a man his age. You know his dad was bald as a cue ball, right?

Can't we just put this stupid topic to rest! Mick's hair is real! He does color his hair but that's all!

Uhhhh...again...just a couple of minutws ago, when I read in the "Alicia Keys" thread that her hands look short I was about to write that she also most likely wears a wig...Just to write something really interesting. But okay, I take it as a joke, this thread hasn't been around for quite a while.

Mick's hair is allright .I don't think he would wear a wig if he had lost his hair ,but mostly inseminate hair (implants ,I don't know the right word in English ) I mean embed or insert hair in the skin.

As far as I know about it ,the whole hair doesn't fall in one day except as a special desease ,so we must have noticed before if it was a long and regulary fall all over the years.

I didn't dare to open a thread about Mick'hair on his chest (he seemed to have much more when he was younger ) but may be after having read your comments and what I also wrote ,I will dare ....(eleanor ,don't take it badly ,I did put a stone on that one too...winking smiley )

I am a Frenchie ,as Mick affectionately called them in the Old Grey Whistle Test in 1977 .

I promised myself to never reply to a thread like this, but, Friday, wine available etc.

My father is 79, he even got "more" hair than Mick wig or not). Not same lenght of course (thank God). Grandpa had thin hair. My brother thick, me thin.
So, not even a small sensation if Mick, Ronnie and Michael J really got (had) hair.

Can I please go back to my Shiraz now.

Don't know if it's a wig these days, but it's no secret he used wigs quite a lot in the 60's and 70's. At Hyde Park he had a wig on, during several '75 shows he had a wig as well.

Ron Wood surely is wearing a wig though.

You can tell his hair is real if you look at his hairline when the wind or fans blow it back. ( fans as in the things that blow cool air, not one of us!). I love his hair! Whoever he has as his stylist is a marvel. By the way, they claim Michael Jackson was just about bald and wore wigs and you can tell this is true by looking at the hairline.
A long time ago there was a fable circulating that said Mick was seen backstage by a fan who had a peephole that was a secret; he claimed at the time that Mick took off his " wig" and his false teeth and it was quite a sight. I thought it was funny, not believing it, but I know of some people who actually believed this myth!! Has anyone ever heard this tall tale?

He's had a series of hair implants throughout the years - so no!

My stylist used to work for his stylist!

Hiawatha didn't bother too much
'Bout Minnie Ha-Ha and her tender touch
Till she took him to the silver stream
Then she whispered words like he had never heard
That made him all shudder inside when she said

Wig-wam bam, gonna make you my man
Wam bam bam, gonna get you if I can
Wig-wam bam, wanna make you understand
Try a little touch, try a little too much
Just try a little wig-wam bam

Running Bear never cared enough
About Little White Dove and her tender love
Till she took him to the silver stream
She told him all about what he couldn't live without
And made him all weak inside when she said

Wig-wam bam, gonna make you my man
Wam bam bam, gonna get you if I can
Wig-wam bam, wanna make you understand
Try a little touch, try a little too much
Just try a little Wig-wam bam

Wig-wam bam sham-a-lam
Wam bam bam sham-a-lam
Wig-wam bam sham-a-lam
Wam bam bam sham-a-lam

Hiawatha didn't bother too much
About Minnie Ha-Ha and her tender touch
Till she took him to the silver stream

Wig-wam bam, gonna make you my man...

There's a Dutch TV personality whom took his wig off on national TV after 10 years. It was the biggest surprise for everyone and all, including his close friends. Funny thing was that his hair was to die for -long, '81 Jagger style hair, or Jagger '72 hair.

In the end it was a rug, and I could have sworn on my daughters crib it was real.

Interesting thread and thx to Mathjis for spilling the beans (at last!)

I suggest we start an even mor interesting thread : did MJ stick a sock in his pants before going onstage?

I was front and center, small stage at Atlantic City in 2006; 3 meters away and directly under Mick as he performed. Extremely unlikely he wears a wig. Hair color? Of course. Wig? Not likely.

Also, BTW, if you're some distance from Mick on the floor, it occasionally appears as if his arms are flabby, but that's just shadows from the spotlight. When I was 10 feet away it was clear that his arms and stomach are totally ripped. He's in awesome condition.

Keith? Another story.

Did anybody know that Michael Jackson was wearing a wig before he died?

When he had his mug shot taken, there was some speculation that we might see a photo of a bald Michael Jackson; that they would make him take the wig off for the photo, but in the end, they let him wear it. The doctors who examined his body after he died said that he had no hair on his head, and the only reason this is relevant to Mick Jagger, is that it proves that it's possible to dance in a very energetic manner while wearing a wig and not have it fall off your head.
