Just drug this one out of the archives and have to say I enjoyed listening to it. Pretty close to the Steel Wheels release, which upon reflection is a cool album even if it was recorded in a hurry before the tour.

SW was my least fave album for a long time. the production just ruined any kind of listening for me. Then the Pre mixes came out, and it changed the album for me. The first set that came out , with the songs a bit more finished than on Training Wheels has become my official SW album > i never listen to released version anymore.

For what its worth I totally agree-the MONITOR MIXES should have been the official one! IMO
