I am in my ALO period Stones mode. In Some things Just Stick in Your Mind and We're Waisting Time, there is this deep echo bass on theses songs.

Does anyone know what the story is with this? Is it a normal bass with echo? Is BW playing this?

Are there other Stones recordings that have this bass?

BTW: Some Things Just stick In Your Mind is becoming a favorite ALO era song. the lyrics are sort of lame but the over-all song is cool

Who knows! Both were just demos but i bet Bill Wyman didn't play bass on any of them...

I'm listening to Try a Little Harder and that bass is on that song as well

Its another one from the good old days when Andrew was selling jagger/richard songs....I NEVER LIKED THIS ONE VERY MUCH. Too much of a motown feel for me.

Andrew was the one who wanted the Stones to record motown stuff...They never did get into motown until IORR album and then again with the Some Girls album!
