Who Are We?: IORRians, IORReans, or something else - would u like to vote??
Posted by: timbernardis ()

I have seen:

1) IORRians

2) IORReans

3) Other possibilities for how we refer to ourselves?

If you would like, please vote for # 1, 2, or 3: something else - and state what that would be.

And whatever u vote for, only if u wish: state why u voted for the one u voted for. No one has to do any of this, but only if it pleases you to do so.

Vote results will be tabulated and submitted to managament which has no obligation to listen but may perhaps at least consider the results.

Finally, this will become the subject of a doctoral dissertation (just kidding, maybe!).

Perhaps the new label will make Wikipedia?

How about a new wine label:

Iorria

(damn, how do we put words in colour - it never seens to work for me!)

I mean, since BV is already taken -- the name of a very old and one of the most prominent wineries in the world famous wine country -- the Napa Valley of California.

BV is Beaulieu Vineyard -- www.bvwines.com

OK, I personally vote for:

IORRians

but IORRites does have a ring to it and connotes something ancient, which is perhaps appropriate, as is not IORR the first or one of the first web-based Stones fan clubs?? credit and kudos to BV for that.

Well, the rule of thumb is "i" before "e" except after "c," right?

Surely this includes no one from Carmichael. And hopefully your remark was not racist. Watch it or I will stick Tim G. on you. He hits people upon request.

think I'll stick with # 2) IORReans - cuz it's similar to EUROPeans.

however it turns out, "we" can only hope and pray that a t-shirt materializes lest "we" forget our identity.

I dont like being "U"'ed. Annoying child-speak.
Why do we have to have a name? You can be plexi and we can be us. Nobody's U and U's banned. Along with "gd", "R" etc. That was only funny when Prince did it, and it wasn't exactly yesterday, either...

I for one refuse to be pigeon holed or categorized. Like Yahweh and Popeye before me I am what I am...which begs the question; Is Popeye God?
