those festivals produced some wonderful opportunities for many of america's finest blooze players to strut their stuff for white audiences, the likes of which had never given them much notice back home....that kind of exposure spurred much of the interest in the blues overseas and eventually back here, although much of that came by way of the "invasion" by bands like stones, yardbirds, animals, etc...

i think there are 4 official dvd's now circulating...but there is still much footage still yet to see the light of day....
