When Franken & Davis played Western Kentucky University's homecoming fest in Fall of '82, I was Bill Wyman in this skit, which was their finale. Al tried to do a stunt over a rail and hurt himself. I turned my bass up in mid-performance and Al gave me a look of death. After the show he signed my program "Eat s--t, Al Franken." Later that night he showed up at my frat house, quite baked. I had my picture taken with him and would love to have it now. True story.

in times like these we need more senators with a sense of humor. this bodes well for the future of politics....
