And who is the bassist/vocalist?

And Taylor can move too! Nice work on the Strat. Any ideas why he changed to that mid-song? Better tone?

Whow! Thank you once again OpenG! It's always a plesure seeing Mick enjoying himself on stage, also a great moment watching him giving Blondie extra solo time on Laundromat Blues. Didn't know Blondie could preform such great guitar work/feeling. What a band!

An educated guess is that this band is: John Paris b/v; Eric Parker d; Joel Diamond k/b. Possibly from 3/10/90 Providence? Filmed with permission and educational purposes by DS?

Any idea what other songs they played that night?

Mick is so relaxed when there's another (competent) guitarist with him.

Mick played with Blondie on one of the latter's tours - in 1990 i think. was there a live album? I have somewhere a live track from an Israel Blondie gig where MT is doing lead. Good stuff. Good track - forgotten the name.

Perhaps they first hooked up at the gig that OpenG has shown us?

I have not checked it, but if it is one of the shows I think it is:

Laundromat Blues, I Wonder Why, Semolina (Blondie song),Going South (instrumental),Red House, SBD, YGM, Hideaway (the Freddie King instrumental)

OG can confirm.

This show was only a few days after the "too hot for snakes" Roxy shows with Carla Olson et al.

never had the chance to meet Rick - but he always struck me as a "real guy."

no - i got into music well after most of my favorites had long since moved on in one way or the other. i wish that i was so much older that i would be long-since dead, in fact.

No, no, it's just too easy. Anybody else want to take this one?

Ok, I suppose it would be rude of me not to take the bait: we wish you were long-since dead, too. And we know you wish we were dead as well. Damn, all this sentiment in the air, I think I'm starting to get a little choked up.

It is indeed this show. Providence, in a church house I think. The band do experience feedback problems and MT seems to lose his patience a bit. It is a great show nonetheless. Hideaway is a highlight.
