Seems people looking for good sound quality are becoming a smaller minority every day. People listen to so much compressed music on their iPods...sounds quality seems of lesser importance.
In fact, the focus seems to be more on volume...pushing cranking every instrument to the max...which probably also feeds into the iPod theory.
I'm not saying I'm one of them...just stating what I seem to see happening.
