Since I listen to music on my PC, I've discovered that this software-based booster is a good tool to use on top of Windows Media Player 10. The trick, of course, is to not overdo the settings. There's a new version available, and yes, it does work. Combine this with your EQ from WMP, select a benchmark recording, and start experimenting. I've achieved good results, and I don't consider myself an audiophile.
