No smilies in headlines, we're supposed to know.
Myself I will return to the topis, have to have a goog think,
it was a loooong day in the Old World. Heat wave.

Till next time I can tell ya my reggae vocalist neighbor ran a concert
with his band three estates away. Much appreciated!

The Grateful Dead "Mescaline" show. Listen to either Dancin in the Streets or Werewolves of London...they sound like it kicked in an extra notch during those songs. LOL

Whatever happened to those little purple barrels?

Well I think my Itunes just realized it was Mick's birthday. So I have recently heard:Honkey Tonk Woman,Satisfaction, terrifying. Also heard so far today,She Was Hot,Rocks Off and Shine A Light. Just another day in the world of a Stones fan.

I listened to a few tracks from "The Very Best of Mick Jagger". As a solo artist, Sir Mick is vastly underrated.

I've become increasingly hooked on the SAL CD and had little time for a truck Mickfest so I played the CD loud. Love his harmonica on "Champagne and Reefer."

my Jagger cd's were not at home (I recently moved - before moving again for a bigger flat next year) but some Stones cd's are here.
I listened to the 4 cd's PERFORMANCES, nice outtakes with a clear enough sound. I was wearing a Mick t-shirt, the one of Satisfaction guarranted cover

Lets see...there was the Now! Acetate, Ladies and Gentlemen, CS Blues, a bunch of Beggars outtakes, Mono Let it Bleed, and of course Welcome to New York, live, MSG, 26 July 1972. Memory gets a little foggy for later in the night...

Generally 80s rock. Very uncommon; but nevertheless refreshing..
As was the ultra-strong beer & 80% Rum I drank to it.
But everything has its price... sad smiley

I cranked up "Blue" and let it play 3 times in Mick's honor!! Love that track!

I played the "ABB AUSTIN TEXAS" dvd vv loud & stood up & danced & cheered Mick all the way through with quite a few repeats of Sway, Bob Wills, Streets Of Love, Learning The Game & She's So Cold.

Then I went on to ABB CD, then Micks best of Solo & then the Dandys New great CD.

Things got messier & messier [but happier & happier], I do remember wishing Mick a happy birthday at least a couple of dozen times & cheering him on during my "Mick's Birthday / Beer / Vodka" induced Saturday.

Keep rocking Mick!!!

Had Sticky Fingers and Black and Blue on random in the car. Knockin' and Negrita sound like a very nice hard latin rave up back to back!

I walked into a restaurant and got to hear a live, acoustic version of You Can't Always Get What You Want by some local musicians.

I wonder what they played on the 26th, then? winking smiley

Well, this was the most recent Mick Jagger thread I could find - just to say that today I saw "The Very Best of Mick Jagger" (CD + DVD) for sale at DKK 50!!! (app 6,60 Euro) at my local record pusher. That is cheap! It has only been out for about 10 months or so? Thought of picking up a few to give to friends as gifts.
