Anybody read his biogs of Mick, Keith and Charlie?

Are they as piss poor as his Beatle efforts?

I don't know the Beatle efforts, so I can't judge those. I finished Keith and I'm struggling with Brian. It's a tough read for a Dutchman, long sentences with difficult words, you see. Some new facts to me so far, but mostly old. I've read many other books, most of them are better.

Let it rock!

I wouldn't recommend his books at any price.
His language is difficult, protentious and most of the material pulled from newspaper interviews- or his own speculations.
CAN'T IMAGINE WHO BUYS THE STUFF.

Not me after reading the Charlie Watts one...dreadful, tiring prose...stay away!
