Companion Piece To Simon's Little Feat, TimBernardis, etc, Or, How to Do Stones Things in a non-Stones Summer

well i had other Stones related experiences in Europe this summer which, while not a substitute for a tour, were fun and interesting

sorry, but i had to delete some material from this thread. Let's just say that I attended a Stones fan club convention somewhere in Germany. A good time was had by all.

Leteyer and Plexi and their families get together in Paris

London Tube Sign

Site of First Stones gig as Jones/Jagger/Wyman/Watts/Richards across street from Ealing Broadway tube station and down a flight of stairs into a smelly abyss, dont know name of original club and year of gig but source: Matt Lee who lives nearby

No foto, but visit to Matt Lee: Stones collector extraordinaire, was given a private tour of his Stones collection -- note: highly recommended, amazing, one of a kind stuff

Near-Miss: Visit with Beast baby in London, just missed her by a couple of days as she ran off to one of her far flung places on the planet Earth

The O2, looking so forlorn and empty after the joy and euphoria of one year ago

Something happens in the O2 to bring back a little of that Stones spirit -- offchance happenstance meeting with SimonN at the O2 (see Simon's thread on Little Feat, timbernardis, etc - [www.iorr.org])

Nice photos Tim, thanks for sharing. Where did they end up sticking that red marker?

Re Photo #2.

Very exciting to see that the mullet fad of the mid-1980's has hit Germany!

From some of the German porn "I've heard" is available for viewing on the internet, there's no telling.

Great pics, TimBernardis!

Doesn't our friend Simon have a job to go to? He's gets everywhere!

...respect for the plexiglass.

respect for the Plexiglass, indeed, Barn Owl. You have said that before and I like that, it is a good mantra. (note: just so long as the respect is focused toward the true and Divine Plexiglass of Charlie, not any human imposters or in this case, promoters, like me).
