I can still listen to these songs though - really the only album I can not take is Dirty WOrk but that too still has 2 or 3 good songs.

Happily surprised to see a lot of fans here don't think much of Can't Be Seen - Keith's only "bad" Stones song, IMHO

I disagree. Nothing wrong with the intention - but its simply negated by the execution. If you're going to write some form of 'protest song' (for want of a better expression) or 'statement',it helps to have incisive lyrics - not something which reads like the rantings of a 12 year old with Tourettes.

A pity, because musically, the song is quite decent and has potential.

By contrast, 'Dangerous Beauty's biting humour and relatively subtlety is far more effective.

My pet peeve is cheap, obvious social commentary from Jagger. Awful. And while I think there have been tons and tons of underappreciated moments of greatness in the last thirty (!) years: "Had It With You," "Continental Drift," "Fancy Man Blues," "How Can I Stop," "Let Me Down Slow," "Back Of My Hand," "Slipping Away," "Might As Well Get Juiced," "The Storm," "Out Of Control," "Terrifying," "Harlem Shuffle (NY Mix)" and many more, the low moments have been just dreadful.

All except Angie are post 86. Seems quite unfair. Stones wrote some horrible songs in the early days too. For example: Gomper, My Obsession, The Singer Not The Song (although personally I like this one, I realize it's rubbish), Sing This Song All Together, Complicated to name a few...

Those are the ones I put on there because those came to mind the easiest. But I guess that's unfair. Sometimes unfair is fun. And funny. But none of that is unfair.

And yes Tatters, I do love the Stones. Surely, hopefully, YOU have a sense of humour that can even enjoy the other senses of humour here. Tell you what, just for you, I'll list out EVERY song they've ever done - remix, cover and original - and score them all with five stars just so you can see that there is someone out there that is dumb enough to like every single thing someone has ever done and not have one bit of value amongst the work.

There are mainly post 89 songs on these lists. Which is hardly surprising because most of it is rather crappy. Before 89 most albums do have one or two gems, a lot of mediocre songs but there are there are also a few horrible songs:
-who's been sleeping here (or most other songs from between the buttons)
-gomper (or most other songs from satanic majesties)
-hide your love/winter/can you hear the music
-shorts and curlies/luxury
-melody
-where the boys go/down in the hole
-feel on baby/too tough/it must be hell
-fight/hold back/winning ugly
-hearts for sale/hold on to your hat

bridges to babylon and bigger bang are unbearable to me. I couldn't even pick a song that's the worst of them all.
