Tabbing a solo from a live show is a bit painstaking. And sometimes too much work for something that is so easy. Those solos he played on Steel Wheels were great. He usually stayed on the penatomic scale on the 12 fret. One mustn't always rely on tabs to play music. A solo is a perfect way to develop your ear. Listen to it and mimic the sounds, the notes and the inflections. Don't wait on tabs to get you to play guitar. Be adventurous and fool around with your guitar and trust it to tell you what's right.

AND watch the video's.

And Keith moved all over the neck on the Steel Wheels tour SFTD solo's.
