I just received this from my brother Peter in Denver (originally from Sacramento, college at St Marys in Moraga, lived in Berkeley for a while after that). He is a huge Charlie fan and is a drummer himself.

I may have mentioned this earlier, but grinding up the plexiglass and snorting it can cause serious grain bamage. I mean sane ramage. Um, drain hamage. Oh, @#$%& it, pass the ground up plexi.

Nice Star Trek allusion Tim. My wife is of much the same mind as your brother when it comes to things Stonsian (and Star Trek.) It's also very cool that you not only made it to the Beacon gig but you are now immortalised by Scorsese as well! As for kool-aid I forswore it years ago.

A quick "intepretation" -- it is not named after me, but after the Divinity we know as THE PLEXIGLASS -- those Divine sheets of clear plastic on either side of Charlie on which the nightly set list is revealed to the band and the masses.

THE PLEXIGLASS is divine as it foretells the future.

I am merely its foremost promoter, practitioner, and prophet, but for me to say that BAPS is named after me is sheer blasphemy. And for u to even suggest such is blasphemous. Be thou careful or thou may be struck down.

The other BAPS members are also united in this belief.
