Courtesy of the folks in the Buy/Sell/Trade area, I've d/l a number of the outtakes and such from the 1975-80 period. Right now, an 11-minute "Hey Negrita" is playing. Ronnie & Keith's riffage is SO funky/reggaeish in this. More proof that when Mr. Wood walked in, the auditions for Taylor's replacement were all but over.

There's also the later extended versions of "Send It to Me", "Summer Romance", "Emotional Rescue" and "She's So Hot". A 10-minute "When the Whip Comes Down". Love all of them.

Some of you may like the unreleased "Gangsters Moll", but it leaves me cold.

Of course, all of this is further evidence of the need for a true anthology-style series by the Stones.

Been into the Rain Fall Down Mixes alot lately,also Yellow Cab. The Black And Blue outakes are pretty good. The '97 rehearsal CD is really good, too.

I'd call that 'legally' released hehe. Official to me means the stones themselves have ok'd it.

Anyway, my all time favourite outtake is Still A Fool from 1968!

" Some of Us Are on Our Knees " , " Honest Man " , and " Criss Cross " come to mind right away.
