Just watching a bit of the Oscars, and one of the Plant/Krauss songs is already on a JC Penny ad. I've seen a LOT of great music lately on TV ads, and I hate it. Good way to ruin (or at least waste) a good song. Tunes By Plant/Krauss, Wilco, Kings of Leon, the Stones, the Who, all sold off to sell products. Somehow, when those tunes are in my cd player, they are less special if I've heard one or two verses 8 times in the last two weeks on TV ads.
I'm sure there are other examples I'm leaving out as well. Stop the madness!!

Yeah, I just saw that JC Penny spot too and couldn't believe it. Made me sick. Just added to the bad feelings I had with the "pre-sales" for their tour. They're really working overtime to ruin that album for me.

I looked that tune up. I couldn't believe it was Robert Plant. It almost reminds me of Beck for some reason.
