A 1972 tour boot on the SODD label called Going Back To The Roots. It's perhaps the best audience recording of the entire 72 tour, recorded at Charlotte Colisseum July 6 1972.
I have an iPod shuffle filled with NOTHING but Stones songs (244 of them). I listen it to it at the gym each morning, set at random play, for a half hour or so... of course the day has JUST begun here...
I listened to Tattoo You on the way into work. I don't usually listen to Start Me Up, just because it was so overplayed on the radio for a long time, but today it sounded just like it did the very first time I ever heard it, also in a car. That first time was so good, I remember being really psyched after it was over.
The wife ran off one year ago. Bumped into this punk rock veteran queen on my way to the Stones show in Brno, thou in my own country. But I will n-e-v-e-r marry again.
I´ve listened to my 100+ songs Stones-compilation almost all day. Í´m so fortunate that I can listen to music at work without disturbing anyone. 100 years ago is on right now. Brilliant song.
The first few songs on the SODD release of 7/9/75. I don't rate this remaster as much of an improvement over the original Millard recording -- still can't hear Ron Wood most of the time. Still, a great show.
Dirty Work CD Satanic Majesties CD (which I haven't played for some time)
I found that I kept skipping tracks on Dirty Work and can never quite get into the songs although I like the guitar work.
Strangely, I listened to the whole of Satanic Majesties and really enjoyed it, even tracks such as: sing this all together, lantern, gomper and on with the show.
I suppose it depends on what mood you are in but as I say I really enjoyed it.
