Just to answer your question...The Grateful Dead died with Jerry.

These clowns can't do it anymore...The Other Ones, or The Dead or whatever they call themselves....just don't do it for me.

Besides, their best drummer, Bill Kreutzman won't be there.

The magic of The Grateful Dead exists on tapes, cd's and DVD's.

Yeah Bingo, gotta agree with you about how super important Garcia was but wasn't sure if they still kind of had that Dead sound/vibe since his death. I figured maybe some of the Weir stuff worked (US BLUES ?). After all the "excitment" last night I couldn't even get in anyway (and I'm on high speed cable now so thought it would be easier). Still wanted to see how last night went down so hopefully there will be some kinda repeat at some point if I remember to catch it... thanks for getting back to me, Helter

Yeah...it would be similar to seeing The Stones with Blondie playing guitar instead of Keef.....oh wait....nevermind. LOL cool smiley

There are three guitarists I admire in my life. Garcia-Page-Taylor...Hendrix is in his own universe.
