This DVD is not music based as such. While there are snipits of songs. I don't really see anything we haven't heard before. The DVD is primarly a documentry of those years in the same vein as the earlier DVD that covered the years 1962-1966. The jest of the DVD is the opinions of a half dozen or so people who followed the Stones and the music scene in general. They offer their opinions of why the Stones went in certian directions with their music and the impact of those decisions on their career.

If you are interested in the history this is something you would want to consider although keep in mind that it is the directors vision of what and why things happened. Which may or may not be completley accurate. If you are simply hoping to hear outtakes etc this DVD does not fit that need.
