Jeff Russell (The Complete Beatles Discography)

One of my holiday gifts was "The Beatles Complete Discography" by Jeff Russell. I read through it and wondered what others think of this guy. For example, he does not credit Paul Mccartney on lead guitar on "Taxman." That to me is a red flag since other Beatles have acknowleded Paul's lead guitar on taxman, including George Harrison who wrote the song. I also noticed that the book has the usual bias towards John Lennon. Anyone else have any impressions of this book and its accuracy?
