What do you think about this guitar?

I love it, but I am not sure what kind of edition is that. The guitar is not currently in production at Gibson (I just inquired about it when I saw it at Thomann).

I have two originals, by the way.

Looks like a good price. If you fancy the vibe buy it.
You can learn a lot about playing guitar with a junior ;^)

[Ideally it would be better to find a couple of examples to try in person...but high street dealers can seldom match those prices]

And for what it's worth, as internet vendors go, that's a decent company to buy from.

Wonder what it is, as these Juniors are only offered through the custom shop these days. But for this price there's not much to fault.

There was a (now sold-out it seems) Japan-only Gibson Les Paul Jr reissue a few months ago - double-cuts, available in (Mary Kay-like) white, TV Yellow (similar to the faded series) and cherry.

Merchant City Music in Glasgow were selling Juniors identical to this one earlier in the year for - I think - about £600. Not currently in stock (just checked their website). They had at least two batches of them which they claimed were exclusive to their store.

Gibson makes guitars for individual dealers and does not post them on the Gibson website.
