Wish I could meet you Elmo, but Friday is a work day. Lukester is making noise about a Braves game and I'm up for that. Won't be long. You know it seems like yesterday we were saying that about college football. Now it's dang near over! Cheers!

Wilcox has the best offense I've ever seen on a Class A high school team. 3-4 Division 1 propspects.

We beat legendary Lincoln County last Friday after falling behind 21-0 in the first 5 minutes. It was 34-3 Wilcox form that point on.

Yeah, a great win! Just got home. We play for the State Championship next Friday in Rochelle. Come on down, y'all!

Glad to hear your team won Elmo. We got a pretty good High School team out here as well. De La Salle in Concord. They had a winning streak of over 100 games until it got snapped a couple years ago. But they're back at it. Undefeated this year playing for a NorCal championship tomorrow. They've had several guys go on to the NFL.

Elmo - You've mentioned that you teach (at Wilcox, I presume). What do you teach, and do you coach football as well?

I teach at the Middle School - no coaching, although that might change next year.

Very small school and community - we've never had this much local pride in my lifetime. BTW, we have some stellar atheletes and a fine coaching staff.

Note: My father was a high school coach, so sports are in my blood - ala Mick!

Sadly, my Patriots got beat in the state championship game. We lost to a great Emanuel County team that features (good news 5-string) University of Georgia commitment Washaun Ealey.

Washaun Ealey reminds one of Knowshawn though, so that's a good sign. He's only a junior.
