I find it interesting the way he takes on different personas. Era to era. Even show to show. Sometimes several within one song.

No doubt. Probably a hard person to live with. Nasty habits, tea at three, etc.
People get wiser and more integrated with age though. If Patti had met him when he was in his twenties, it probably never would have worked!
