Perhaps this will get timbernardis posting again.
I'm sure this has been discussed before, but really, what is the purpose of the plexiglass?
I'm assuming it has to do with sound, but I wonder if it has more than one purpose other than a convenient place to put up a set list.
Does it insulate Charlie from the rest of the sound onstage, or does it accentuate the sound coming from Charlie & his drum kit, or both?
Inquiring minds want to know!

I've read somewhere that Charlie has been reading set lists from plexiglass boards since 1977 .Was it that early ?
