Totally OT: The Joy of Being Self -Centered

1. I don't have to worry about offending anyone, as I don't give a damn what anyone else thinks.

2. I don't have to worry about ever catching a STD, because I only love myself.

3. I only spend money on myself. Therefore, if I have no money, I can't be accused of being spoiled.

4. I have no friends, so no one expects anything from me. Therefore, no one is ever disappointed in me.

5. When I die, I won't be hurting anyone, as I know no one. Therefore, no one will miss me.

(Disclaimer: I didn't write this to poke fun at any particular person. In real life, though, we may know someone who exhibits some of these tendencies on occasion. It may even be true of yourownself once in awhile. So, don't take offense, OK?)

Hey Bassplayer, are you married or single? I'm happily single (at 41) and can honestly say there is a large grain of truth in your list.

Cheers,
Drew

Been married three times. The last one has been good, and produced a child. Now, to be honest, the girls give me my space (usually), but, without them, I probably wouldn't be here now. I turned 50 this past summer, and have grown up a little bit. Wife is 36. Daughter is 11.

Bassplayer,

These are simple rules that everyone in life should abide. Your Ben Franklin instincts are appreciated. However, for #2, make sure your hands are spic and span clean! LOL
