I noticed he was playing Anaheim, but NOT the Stadium. I am surprised he chose the Honda center, The sound there sux the big one, almost as bad as Staples, but I guess having played L.A. he felt he had to do a show or 2 in Orange County. I will be out of town then so it's a mute point for me, I'm just glad I saw him at the Sports Arena 2 weeks ago.

I can't wait for both the Ft Lauderdale AND Miami ticket sales!!!!!!!

It's not fair but the Stones played each venue during the last two tours.

Lukester,

What is the latest on the Panther quagmire?

Hey Chris......I've been purposely not paying attention to the Panthers this week, it helps to ease the pain. I remember thinking at the beginning of the season that the Falcons were pigeons without Michael Vick....I shudder to think what the Panthers have now become...(pussys?)

Oh yeah, I'm all over tickets for Atlanta. Luke, R U going?

I waited outside MSG New York on Oct 18, about 200th in line and -- got shut out!!

No tickets.

I'll be ready this time.

What's the best way to get tickets?

Some say go to a Kinkos in Manhattan. Kinkos has a very fast internet connection, better than anythig one might have at home.

Wish me luck. Thanks.

I don't know if waiting on line is the best way of getting tickets if you have on-line access. I have had decent luck online, but you have to remember all the season ticket holders and other priority early ticket sale promos that might be going on.

I was once first, I mean very first in line for concert tickets for an Elton John Show at the Hollywood Bowl in the mid 90's. I couldn't even but a seat in the most expensive or second most expensive section. I was about half way back. That was first in line at a ticketmaster outlet, receiving my tickets about 1 or 2 minutes after they went on sale.

BTW, my connection to getting good tickets for shows in the 70's and 80's came from my friends mom who managed the ticketron department at Montgomery Wards. She would run off tickets to the shows we wanted as soon as they went on sale.

Bruce is in my city tonight. I am passing this time. I figure I've seen him 17 times since 1980. When the show went on sale it sold out in several minutes and all the single seats sold out shortly after.

Thanks to all the scalpers buying up tickets and never too sure how many seats will be released the day of show it's hard to make plans with friends to go to a show. It seems more of a hassle than it's worth. I'm not into looking for cheap deals outside in the dark, cold, rainy streets.

I think the first time I saw him in 1981, tickets were $10.75. In 1984 they were $15 and so on. Tickets here are $89 + s/c. I suppose that is reasonable considering what other superstar acts charge.

Bruce is justified in his shorter shows, he's 58. When I first saw him in 1980, he did 3 1/2 hrs...this tour clocks an average 2 hrs 10 mins.

I guess you could call me a super fan. Besides the 17 times seeing him, own all the legit records, quite a few boots, traded a lot of live recordings, went out of my way and have met him six since 1992, had several of my things autographed and have pictures taken with him. I'm not a fan of all his work, but give it a fair listen. I am one who thinks "Tunnel of Love" is his second best album.

So, not sure if I am getting old (I'm 39), married life sinking in and don't like the bother of a concert? My occupation does not require me to wake up too early so I can not complain about getting home late. I still go to a bunch of concerts, but this time around I just don't have the "buzz".

Sorry for the rambling...the Ritalin kicked in.

Yeah,my bad. THe shows are in 08 obviously. Didn't realize that the Honda center has crappy sound as well. Maybe I'll hold out for another Bay Area show instead of going south.

Lukester, yes like Elmo said. My latest sig is from Call Me The Breeze. Been listening to One More From The Road lately. It still sounds great.

I'd had given it a shot to go there and get a ticket outside. So far on this tour, I believe it has been very easy to get tickets in every city on the day of the show, except for in New York.

For Los Angeles, I am fortunate that I was out of town when the shows went on sale, as I would have paid full price buying floor tickets. As it was, I went down the first night and at 7:30, with a huge amount of people trying to unload tickets, was handed a free floor ticket by someone who had 2 extras. For the second night, I figured it could be a little tougher gettting in, but I only ended up paying $25 for a floor ticket.

My total cost for the 2 shows was $25 and I stood a little closer than the mixing board on the floor and did not miss any songs. I ended up paying roughly $200 less than I would have when they went on sale and I also parked for free 1 block away form the venue, instead of paying $20 each night to park there.

For the Anaheim shows, I won't even bother trying to buy in advance and instead just go there on the days of the shows and pay well under face value again.

I was just a few feet in front of you with all those people with wrist bands complaining that they couldn't get in the pit. I was dead parallel to Bruce's Mic.

A friend who is a Bruce fan to an extreme that he showed me a catalog where one can order wristbands for their social events, etc. He ordered a bunch of different colors and patterened wristbands so he could always be in the Bruce Pit. He just finds the color they are using that night when they open the gates and then goes to his car and finds one in his stash. If the color is slight off it does not matter since the lighting is low in the areas they would be looking for your wristband. Been in the PIT for 8 out of 8 shows that he so far attended.

No word what he will do with the thousands of extra wristbands he will have left over.

How much did John Paul Jones pay for the naming rights to the arena is Charlottesville? "How The West Was Won" DVD must have been bigger than we thought!
