Anyone have any thoughts on this track?
I think it could have a been a classic in the vein of Monkey Man or CYHMK if they worked on it a little more, but it sounds unfinished.
The riff was there. So f'n Raw like a buzz saw.

always loved it, think you're right, could have been a classic. it just proves that the stones were at their creative peak in the late 60s/early 70s that they could afford to not release it. I like the 'unfinished' sound of it by the way. tha's what makes it even more interesting to hear.

the riff is killer!!! but it's a bit like soul survivor: the arrangement is kinda weak and it sound smore like a jam. both songs could have been hit singles i guess, i've they worked on it a bit more.

also like rock and a hard place and wicked as it seems. recyled riffs and no real desire to improvise anything new . open tunings sure made it easy

i like Charlie's drumming on this one, the cymbals are really crisp in the choruses. couldve done with a taylor solo or two a la Jivin Sister Fanny though...!
