Exile On Mainstream

The title of a sort of greatest hits by the Australian (?) group Matchbox Twenty.

I got curious as to the title - some of you might guess why - and googled it. And yes, it is a hommage to the the real "Exile" and - surprisingly to me - one of their songs - "Disease"(hmmm...could that be yet another reference, this time to "Exile"'s original title?) is co-written by Jagger.

Now - does anybody know of this group? Rockman perhaps? And are they worth buying or stealing? And where would one start? The cover of "Exile On Mainstream" seems pretty promising........

They're definitely not Australian, but they are wildly popular down there.

Didn't Rob Thomas appear on 'Goddess In The Doorway'?
Certainly worked with Santana.
