Good news
Always loved that band on stage, even if the albums since Bruces departure in the mid-90ies are kinda weak.
The last one was slightly better, but IMO their songs are often too long
I really would like them to do shorter songs again, like The Number Of the Beast, Prisoner, Aces High...

I'll check them out if/when they come to Vancouver. Maiden always puts on a great show and Steve Harris is an awesome bass player!
When the Crocodile Hunter show came on tv, I always thought he reminded me of Bruce Dickenson.

Although I really like their longer tracks and also their newer albums... it would be cool to see them make an album of short rockers on time. Their shorter tracks from recent years is great. Different worlds, Rainmaker, The Wickerman. Quality stuff. smiling smiley

This tour though is a old classics tour playing stuff from their mid 80´s era, and aparently will the stage be something like the classic egyptan stage from World slavery tour 84-85.

Iron Maiden may not be for everyone.

I've seen them 5 or 6 times since 1985 and they perform like it was their last show ever. They really enjoy themselves and play it up for audience without being cheesy.

Okay, The Eddie mascot thing IMO got old 12 yrs ago, other than that I have no problem being a repeat customer to the Iron Maiden.

Actually am great friends with Bruce's mother in law. Saw them from backstage last time they were in St. Louis. Dave Murray even brought me a Molson Golden! The nicest guys you'd ever meet!!
