... it wasn't a "cake fight" - it was a cream-pie fight, no?
Greenfiel describes it in detail in STP

It seems unlikely that this is from the same fellow. He was looking for NYC audio to match to the video.

Yes I noticed that the audio came from Fort Worth. But how could several people have the same footage...? Incredible to see the cake incident after all these years

i was there. 5th row center. my dad took my brother and i. i was 15 at the time. it was a dream come true.

i honor of his birthday, mick took a swig of champaign at one point and passed the bottle to the crowd. i wonder who ended up with it.

what a night.

I thought the pie fight would last longer. You know, it's so clear that Mick was just plain exhausted by that point. He was having a good time and all, but just death wasted tired.

I could be wrong but I think the audio is actually from Houston 6/25/72 second show......well at least the "Midnight Rambler" part is. The band introductions are from Ft. Worth 2nd show.

>> thought the pie fight would last longer <<

it probably does last longer - i believe the "point" of this clip
is that it's just little fragments of the existing footage.
as for the audio ... i wish they'd used Bluesberry Jam from Montreux or something -
the way this is like "semi-synchronized" just distracts me.

Did Taylor use a tobacco burst Les Paul or are the colors off?
