It's less than 2 minutes long but the sound seems a lot better than the other Mustique - Mick Live footage I've seen on You Tube. This was the show to see but I have a better chance at a LOTTO win I think....

Wow, Mick is just an incredibly cool guy! Standing there, just like he's performing in front of a full stadium, really really nice. Those who were there were very lucky!

Using the website called keepvid.com you can do it yourself very easily. Then the only thing left to do is download an FLV-player for the video-files, but that's easily found too! Goodluck!

Well, I'll run through Mustique 101 (to the best of my knowledge/memory) for those who may not know much about it. Mustique is a VERY SMALL island about 30 minutes (by small prop plane - there are no direct fights from the USA or Mexico or anything) from Barbados which is part of the "Windward Island" chain of Caribbean Islands - very far East in the Caribbean. Never been to Mustique (not a big "Caribbean" man these days) but did "enjoy" 5 days of rain and storms and flooding in Barbados years ago (sun did kinda come out for a couple hours one afternoon).

Anyway, Mick has a house on Mustique (as does David Bowie and a few other musicians I believe - Roger Waters maybe?) He spends a few weeks there a year - there seems to be one specific period, year after year, but BV doesn't like us to get too detailed so I won't mention when that is. The rest of the time his house is for rent (by the week I believe - he reviews every application personally before one is approved to stay there) you can actually find the web site that rents his place out if you do a google search. Get some friends together (it ain't cheap !!) and good luck.

So anyway it looks like he was in town (or the other way around) for this "music festival". Last I heard Mustique has 2 Hotels and 2 or 3 bars. Private homes, a few shops, and some pretty beaches. If you are a hounded celeb this is really the place to get away from it all. Being famous sounds like a nightmare to me so I would be there A LOT I think. as far as the Mustique show goes I have no idea how it was put together or how organized it all is but it seems like the nearest thing to Mick playing your Backyard BBQ so imagine what a treat that would be...

I'M SURE I MISSED SOME POINTS SO PLEASE ADD ANY ADDITIONAL INFO - this is interesting Stones stuff IMHO....

wow, thers something about that preformance that reminds me of Mick in the late 60s early 70s. Maybe because its such a small stage.

Yeah but what I think TOTALLY makes this clip is he's doing a STONES song, not an old blues standard (as good as he is on those). Like Queenie said, 30 people at some totally casual bar and he's doing one of the most famous rock songs on the planet... something very special about that IMHO - like your own backyard BBQ party with Mick performing - lol !!! BTW, Robert Plant played a little dive bar (maybe a 100 people) in TWENTY NINE PALMS (California - the high dessert, close to Joshua Tree and Palm Springs kinda) about half a year ago which would have been another magical show to be at.... these guys, you NEVER know....
