Most times you go to a 'Stones' concert and the time fly's buy in a minute or two never mind 2 hours.
When Mick & co started 'Midnight Rambler' in the usual 'bluesy' way i knew we were in for a great rendition of this live song which really expounds the band from start to finish live.
For some strange reason i was watching Mick's actions throughout the song and i got the impression that he was watching the audience (not their reaction) to such an extent that this might in deed be the last time that the 'Stones' would play this song live.
Now i don't do pot or drugs ,enjoy a drink but was not drunk but i am an instinctive person and felt that 'Mick' was playing this song along with the band as if if was the last occasion that they would do it.
Obviously i hope that the feelings i had during 'MR' turn out to be fruitless.
If anyone else at the 02 'Arena 23/8/07 had similar vibes please post.
