IF they did club gigs the ideal encore would be..

There would be no need to entertain casual concert goers. They could do whatever they love to play now, oldies or newer stuff.
Yeah, jamming with Midnight Rambler wouldn´t have to be the only jam song in the set list.
And, they would be able to surprise us hard core fans with a fresh encore like

Mean Disposition from Voodoo Lounge.

Yes, I´m serious. No, I´m not drunk.
I´m not a huge fan of VL, they could easily squeeze it to EP with Love Is Strong, You Got Me Rocking, Thru and Thru and Mean Disposition.

Give this song a second chance, it`s worth it. Stripped down groovy r`n´r number with Chuck only added to it. Yep, ideal energetic finish to a RS club gig!

I'm a big fan of "Mean Dispostion." In fact I was walking home tonight to it blasting in my iPod. I think it could be a fresh encore if they approach it like the recording. It starts with a sort of jam feel to it and then everyone just jumps in. That loose vibe at the top is crucial to it working. The casual fan would think, "wow did they make that up on the spot? That was amazing!" Let them be impressed by that and let the die hards be impressed by this lost gem getting a public airing.

Nicely put. And Mick`s "adult" voice is very well suited to the song

Exacctly. Mick's "adult" voice works perfectly. It almost feels like one of them was pissed at a woman and just walked in the studio when they were jammin' and laid it down. I love the feel of this song, It's almost a "right before last call" song. It builds so perfectly from loose to tight. One of my favorites.

Nope, you would die on the spot if they really walked off and did not return after playing a never heard before gem... So that would have been your last show, something that is really unacceptable and unbearable... ;-)

How about Hey Crawdaddy or Just Wanna See His Face, either stretched out to about 20 minutes like the blues bands used to so back in the day?

I would vote for

Salt of the earth

or

Something happened to me yesterday

(if the venue's big enough for the dixieland band)
