Keith's said playing JJF is close to attaining nirvana,
so if you mean "his favourite to play" it seems JJF must be right up there

you must have a big wrist if you are going to get 'jumpin jack flash' tattooed across it...
unless of course its just 'jjf'...

Yeah, it's your wrist, get what YOU want.

My general feeling about tattoos, if you have to ask someone else what you should get, then you shouldn't be getting one. I don't mean that as a putdown either, just maybe you should give it more time to really think it over.

Re: Keiths Fav Song

I'm not really asking someone else what to get, im getting the information i need to get one.

I was going to wait until mr richards died and get one as a tribute but whats the point... i would rather get it now.

i want his favorite song as i can't think of any better way to pay tribute to him. i dont want his picture or his name. i want something that reflect who he is....

Once i've made my mind up i'm gona wait 2-3 months before i go get it to see if i still feel the same way at the time.

If thats your criteria for a tattoo, I'll say it's "@#$%& Blues". That'll look cute on your wrist....

Good idea, it's better to honor people when they're still living. Besides, you may croak before he does!

I thought it was Tumbling Dice.

"You'll be studying history and you'll be down the gym. And I'll be down the pub, probably playing pool and drinking."

You'll never know and maybe it changes from time to time depending on his mood.

So you'll never be sure to get the right one.

Listen to Cindy and get what YOU want and what is your fav song.

You'll do better in the long run. Believe me.

It is JJF...there is no debate on this. I have read this, I have heard him say this, it just is. He has talked about how it still gives him chills when he plays it.

It doesn't hurt that it's the best song ever!!!!!!

What's lucky with that.. Ok, good age. But bein'23; ya gonna be 25 soon,
and that's fer sure no good age. Glad its way, way behind me.

Re. age, I sometimes envy the ones who are around the 60-mark - but only because they might have seen the Rolling Stones back in the 60's and the 70's.....

....then I get to thinking that if Sir Mick and His Keefness had not spend the 80's arguing - I could have seen more tours.....

....then again - if they HAD toured in the 80's (more than they did - I AM aware, that they toured 81-82 and again in 80, thank you) maybe they would not have been together and we would not have had the tours of 90's and noughties.....

...then I usually go to bed with a headache!

Stones-wise, 23 is not too great, as you probably cannot expext a lot of tours to come. And you cannot have seen too many tours....Then again - Stones do defy common logic ;-)

A few years ago I attended a Keith birthday party event in Toronto where Bernard and Blondie put together a band and played. Bernard sang "Love In Vain" as his special birthday tribute song for Keith and told us that it was Keith's favorite song.

Lose your dreams and you will lose your mind...

Re: Keiths Fav Song

but but but ... Keith's "favourite song to hear" may very well be different from his "favourite song to play"
and/or his "favourite song that he sings lead on" or "favourite of all the songs he's written".
Keith's said playing JJF is close to attaining nirvana - he's said seeing Tumbling Dice in the set list
still gives him a chubby :E - he's said his favourite of the songs he's written is "the next one" -
and no doubt his favourite favourite changes regularly anyway, which a tattoo doesn't,
which is why this is maybe not such a red-hot idea. but if gods really means to do it anyway:
i don't see why the title of your favourite "Keith song" wouldn't be at least as fine a tribute
as what you read somewhere is his favourite song. anyway Keith's also famously said: "there's only one song."

You don't want "Happy"....people will think it's a Rosy Palmer thing.
